I purchased Express Burn because my trial period ran out before I could try the trial version (my fault). The reviews were so good that I took the chance that it would work. The first disc I am trying to make is an Audio CD from .mp3 songs. The first three discs gave this error: 1) Caculating Duration 2) Finalizing 3) "There were errors burning your Audio CD disc…" (see below) On the fourth & fifth disc I tried to download the 'Edit with Wave Pad' suite, then, when I tried to burn, I got this error: (even tried at 10x write speed) 1) Calculating Duration 2) Burn Track 1 (short time) 3) Finalizing 4) "There were errors burning your Audio CD disc. Error Message: Error Writing to Disc Additional Error Information Source File Sense Data: 05 64 00" (<this number is always the same) So… no joy. Maybe I should try a data disc but I'm going thru a lot of discs. Tell me that Express burn doesn't work with Mountain Lion... I'm using: OS-X 10.8.2 Mountain Lion MB Pro-retina Apple Super Drive Express Burn 4.1.6 [added later] Today I burned a data disc and it went fine. Burned and verified fine.
