  1. Not yet. The next release will support this command line option.
  2. We have customers that have working caller id in Europe. All aspects of callerid are heavily dependant on the telephone company and the modem. The modem must support the type of caller id the telephone company supplies (often FSK). Does caller id not work for you? IVM phone answering Attendant
  3. You need to create/edit an OGM to run the plugin (OGM Properties, Advanced tab). Browse and select the fax plugins exe file. As noted in the fax.txt file with the plugin the first argument in the phonenumber you want it faxed to and the second in the filename. Unlesss you want a constant number you may need to consider using an input variable in the OGM to get the users toi input their fax number. In the case the first argument would be something like %number% (whatever you chose in the data entry section. Remember to tick 'Is IVM process' on the dialogue where you add the plugin. 4. Hi, could you please contact me in convenient on craig@nch.com.au I will send you a diagnostic version to help determine the problem and hopefully fix the issue. Express Burn CD Writer
  5. Using version 3.0 you can change to system prompts folder for each OGM. Given this you could have a selection OGM that asks your language and then changes to your say Spanish system prompts. From then on the mailbox messages will use the new messages. Under set local variables (Advanceld tab for OGM properties) you set SystemPromptsFolder=C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NCH Swift Sound\IVM\GroupA (what ever folder you like)

    Skype

Sorry, IVM will only work with SIP based VOIP services. Skype does not use this so it will not work with IVM.

    HP2210

Use the record button on the main window. Tap it to start recording and tap the stop button to stop recording. There is no other button support.
  8. Are you sending a DCT file. If so use Express Scribe to read the file. If you send a wav file any audio application can read it. You can configure the application to send wav by default.

    Burn Settings

You are right -erase does not work. It has not been implemented in the program yet. I'll add it into the next release. To burn using the command line the erase option is not needed. It will auto erase if you have the same option enabled using the main application (ie burn a CD using the main GUI and ensure the erase CD option is ticked)
  10. How do you mean "the drive can never be accessed". The CD is not usable after erasing (ie you cannot use it the Windows Explorer etc. You can burn the CD with Express Burn or any other burner application. Also what operating system are you using?
  11. As you are using Windows 98 the issue is probably with your ASPI layer. Please refer to the Technical support section under Express Burn on our website for recommended actions.
  12. Please contact me on craig@nch.com.au and I'll send you a diagnostic version to work out this issue.

    Burn Settings

sorry just re-read your post. The erase option is under the Burner menu which was added in version 1.08. Can you see this menu. If not please try upgrading.
  14. How are you burning the CD. As an Audio CD or a Data CD? If you are burning an audio CD You can change the order just by dragging a song to the desired location If you are burning a data CD You cant change the order. Files are required to be in a specific sort order. The only way to change the order would be to rename then files Express Burn does not use CDDB in any way so I assume you are referring to Express Rip using CDDB when extracting the files. Currently you cannot export the song titles but it is a good idea and will add it into the next version
  15. This is probably a compatibility issue with your drive. Please contact me on craig@nch.com.au I'll send you a beta version and get some diagnostic information.

    Burn Settings

Version 1.08 does not have this menu. Are you running a beta version (1.09) if so then the problem is that we have not yet written it. The menu is not needed it will only list the same information as the burn dialogue shows you when you start a burn.

    RunExeDisconnect

The various variables used in OGM processing are local environment variables. These can be accessed in a plugin call _genenv c function. Similarly the plugin genfunc may be able to access this information and pass on to another plugin.

    Using IVM

Sorry no there is no voice/non voice determination in the current version of IVM.

    IVM Answering

IVM is fully functional for the 14 day trial. If it does not work then it is most likely a modem issue. Please check your modem is fully voice and TAPI compiant and that the voice/wave drivers were installed for it (try uninstall/reinstall of the modem). Otherwise post what goes wrong.
  20. Caller Name is provided by your telephone system. There is not user configurable way of changing this. Not all telephone systems provide it and not all modems or boards will interpret it (the CallURL hardware for instance ignores the call name information). You will need to check with your telco and harware manufacturer.

    IVM and receiving fax

You may use a separate fax line using WinFax or other software. Just make sure IVM is not configured to listen to the line and all will work correctly.

    OGM Manager

The current version has logical and alphabetical sort order (toolbar icons). If you need this feature you will need to upgrade to a later version of IVM.
  23. Hi, Under settings please check for the Devices tab and Advanced Line settings. Please try enabling 'Enable software based end of call tone detection'. If it already enabled try removing it.
  24. The inactive message just means no one is currently connected. First off does the system work correctly using the call simulator. Use this to test your setup and configuration. Most likely you have your OGMs setup incorrectly. Otherwise please check the installation of your modem drivers. Please uninstall and reinstall your modem. Please check that the voice/wave drivers are correctly installed.
