I just downloaded the free version (for Mac) and when I open the program, there is no project window; the toolbars are just free flowing on my desktop, not contained in a window. Consequently, there is no command bar and no command bar option under the view tab. Also, (I don't know if this is related), when I click on anything else on my screen - a browser, e.g. - the program hides itself until I call it up again from my menu.
