Yes I have read the two locked topics concerning registration, my issue is not covered there. Please forgive me, I know this forum is about USING mixpad, not registering it. Last week I had to reformat my machine. Fortunately all my verification emails from NCH were saved. I had saved the installation exe (thank God) for WavePad, but not for MixPad. Now both programs have changed version numbers and the version for which I HAVE the "ID and key" license codes cannot be downloaded any more. What can I do? I did find an "old version" download of mixpad, but it's a rar file, and before I extracted, I noticed a "keygen exe" file contained in it. This is a red flag for a potential virus, so I do not want to open it. I deleted it. The mix pad version I need is the version that was bundled with WavePad version 4.46. As far as I can remember, I did not even HAVE an exe installation file for the mixpad, I used a menu button ON THE WAVEPAD to install it, then paid for the license. Now I have found the v4.46 installation file for my wavepad in my external drive, which I did save. However, clicking the "install related programs" button in it downloads the CURRENT mixpad version, NOT the version that I PAID FOR ONCE AND DO NOT WISH TO PAY FOR TWICE. Am I just screwed on this? Can anyone tell me? Thanks.
