Make this simple test: -Start a new VP project. -Import a single 60fps file. -Go to Timeline and count how many distinct frames you have in one second. - It's just 30 ... So it's useless to export @60fps , you will end with double frames.

As far as I know VP does not work OK when input / output files are more than 30fps . So check if your input files are not 50p/60p and try to export @ 30fps max.

Thank you for your prompt answer . Nice tip using zoom manually. I also tested the same 'shaky' video using the old APE 11 stabilizer (Adobe Premiere Effects) , AVS VE 6.x , Mercalli 3.x sal. VP was the only program that displayed black borders . I try to use a monopod (as a tripod) but for home/amateur videos even this is not always easy as you try to 'capture the moment' . Mike

Hello, thank you for your prompt answer. It's not the same. You have to search for the correct filename and place it toy the correct position . Moreover the clip could be trimmed and / or with some video & audio effects on it (audio fade in/outs etc). Ironically the same file could be displayed as multiple clips ... Replace function is smart and applies all previous work automatically . Moreover(2) if we are talking about a batch Stabilization the pain is multiplied you have to do what you mention one-by-one ... Anyway the bug is obvious ... everything works as expected until you get out of the program ...

Tested with v 4.00 on 2 PC's ( WinXP & Win8.1) Lets have a sequence with one clip . - You right click the clip on Video Files, choose stabilize . - When finish a pop up message prompt you to Replace the file on clip . You choose Replace . - Go to Clip -> Properties and you will notice the new name (eg 'myclip - Stabilized.avi' ) , so you think everything went OK . - Now save the project , exit , load VP and load this project again . - Go to Clip -> Properties and you will notice that the name is still the old one (eg 'myclip.mts' )

Yeap ... it also happens to me with using 4.00 & 3.90 . Doesn't have to do with cache etc ( winxp / cpu: e8400 @ 3.4G)

yeap ... you're right . I use VP just for fast basic editing (mostly because I cannot have the descent transitions I want ) .

Add effect -> Load Plugin -> Add ffvdub.vfd ( from ... \K-Lite Codec Pack\Filters\ffdshow\ or ffdshow install ) / Add effect -> ffvdub -> Configure -> (uncheck all except) -> Offset & Flip -> [ ] Flip / [x] Mirror . Sometimes after changes you have to delete the effect and add it again . I observed some loss of quality but flip is done .

Whatever you think is welcome . Why so much obsession with total time ? In some older LE software it was more obvious that total time will not be the same (you push Clip B in the left part of Clip A) . Right now I did the test in Ulead Media Studio 8 (discontinued , counts more than 10 years) - Crossfade Worked OK ... Look how other LE & NLE works . Take a look on AVS (trial) .

If this is the description of a transition , batch assigning transition to all clips have no use . YES it's also a problem even in very short transitions . If I have to use tracks for something SO simple it's not Linear Editing ... I used Pinnacle Studio for 8 years , I also used Ulead Media Studio , Ulead VideoStudio for some time . All of them worked OK Write now I did the same test with *AVS Video Editor* ... Worked like a charm ... UNwanted video is displayed only in VP when I trim the clips (so clips continue playing by Duration/2 secs ... Clip A beyond the Mark Out and/or Clip B before Mark IN)

It happens to all versions. Let say we put clip A and clip B in a sequence . Clips A and B are uncut (no trim) . Chose whatever transition you prefer (let say Crossfade) and Put long Duration like 6 secs . Now watch the transition frame by frame: - When the transition starts, Clip B is frozen until the middle of the clip ... - In the middle of transition, Clip A freezes and Clip B starts playing ... You may say that this happens because videos are uncut, but it's very annoying . I can't really use any transition if i am not sure the clips are not trimmed . *Even when they are trimmed , they shows scenes I don't want to* . I have to do some assumptions , like if the duration is 1 sec , I have to trim 0,5 secs for each clip . Batch assigning transition to all clips have no use . Actually I prefer not to use transitions at all .

When I try to reverse video , reverse works but it looses the correct starting and ending point . It happens with mts , mp4 , even with video files from Youtube (in order to test it) Last good working version was 3.54 8/7/14 .

Solved 1) @Server: Disable all of virtual network cards and i left active only the Local . 2) @Axon: options -> network -> Local SIP / RTP ports = External SIP / RTP ports . 3) @Client: Delete from router all unused redirections .

Let say Device A, B are local devices , Device C, D are external device . If I try to dial from C to a country phone number , everything will be OK . So there is no problem with port forwarding on server . If I try to dial from C to any other device (A, B , D) it will dial , the device will pickup the call but I can hear nothing . If I try to dial from country phone number and pickup from C , same problem . Same with D Also C, D have the same problem with uplink (Skype) . When I dial to Skype number , Uplink picks up the phone but I can hear nothing . Devices A , B works OK between them , using country phone numbers , and with uplink . I used ATA (LinkSys pap2t) , Express Talk , 3cx Phone , same problem to all of them , I tried - using with / without outbound proxy . - in pap2t changing prefered codec . - in pap2t changing RPT ports (from 16.xxx to 8000) . - Reseting my Router . - Port forwarding ports 5060...5090 (tcp/utp) and 8000...65000 (tcp/utp) [after fail i set it back to 5070 utp , 8000...8100 utp -server works to 5070- ] Any ideas ? TIA

I upgrade my Axon and I mentioned that previous versions (even 2.20) stores data to C:\Program Files\NCH Swift Sound\Axon\ v.2.21 stores data to C:\Program Files\NCH Software\Axon\ this is unusual because no other nch software stores main data there . edit: Even registry paths are also different
