  1. We have PhotoStage Professional installed on a Windows 7 Professional 32 Bit system that will not burn DVD's that are accessable by home DVD players. We will create a slideshow with music, and create an "Image File" on the desktop. Then we will burn a DVD by right-clicking on the image file and burn it to a DVD using an HP LightScribe DVD. These DVD's can be played by both Macintosh and Windows computers using Apple's DVD Player software and Windows Media Player software, but they do not work with any stand alone DVD players at all...they just can't be read by any machine we have tried. We are using Sony DVD +R disks. We know that the DVD writer works because disks written with the Windows DVD Maker software burn fine, and can be read by home DVD players as well as Apple's DVD Player and Windows Media Player software. We even re-installed the Windows 7 Professional software this week as well as iTunes, Office 2003 and Picassa 3.8 in an effort to fix the problem. We tried the free version and were able to burn a usable DVD. Now that we have paid real money for the software, it does not work. What else can we do?
