I'm very new to Video Editor, but I was having the same problem. The only thing different is that I was getting a different message, saying something about, "too big and tag". I couldn't quite desipher it, but I decided to practice with a 20 inch clip and leave the tag field empty. It works great as long as my tag field is empty, it may take awhile but eperiement with leaving fields empty. hope this helps.
