Thank you for these informations but it seems that with a new recent update that the computer does not crash using videopad... Anyway, I call also DELL to change the video card (ATI HD 5470) and also to control all the fan process and the temperature of the processors during the work on videopad because it seems to create a problem warming the pc. Then with a too hot temp.the pc crash (security). I'm just expecting the technician of dell who's coming at the end of this week, beginning of next... Then we'll see .... With the new video card and these controls I'll try again to work with the videopad programm to see if the problem is again there.... I'm a new and very satisfied user of videopad 2.20 with an official licence (i'm from belgium but living and working in italy).It works good BUT on every film I make, working on the project sometimes without any logical action or place in the work on a video project the screen of my pc begins to freeze and all the pc is blocked.I need to stop and reset completly the pc !My PC is a recent DELL studio 1558 with win7 64 bits, 6 gb ram, core I7. This problem is always with videopad programms and absolutly NOT with the others (windows movie maker, roxio videowave, magix and so an.The graphic card is an ATI MOBILITY RADEON HD 5470.This happens on the HD screen of the dell or linking the pc to my big led screen acer 22" also HD.The films i'm trying to work are from a xacti sanyo camera in 30 fps HD 1960-1080.After many reset, it's possible to finish the films with effects, text and so on and videopad (fortunatly) saves all the project in automatic mode (the programm proposed always to restart from the saved file). Could you kindly give me some informations about this "bug" (?)because this program seems to be very good and easy to use (seeing other videowave and so on)and the mp4 final mode is very stable even on an ipad (after conversion) Thank you all for your informations david from "boutyk" some more informations: on most of the films i try to work with (effects, and son on) after a moment the computer crashed and blocked without the possibility to go further. It's also impossible to save because it's impossible to know when and why the programm crashed... That's only with the videopad programm because th pc dell is one of the latest and it's very stable .
