  1. Let me start by saying that this is my first time using the software, and I'm very impressed with it. But as I was using it, I was switching between it and my various recording programs to capture new clips. after switching the focus back and forth a new times, I noticed some panels (in particular the background behind the stop/play buttons in the preview window) had lost their textures. I didn't think much of it, just an annoying bug, and I was too absorbed in my project to really pay much attention to it. Until finally, I had minimized it and brought it back up to add in a new clip, and to my utmost horror there was nothing there. The VideoPad screen was completely blank. I tried right-clicking on my webcam software and a drop-down menu appeared as if I was right-clicking on an audio track in video pad. I tried Ctrl-S and the dialog box popped up, only there was nothing in there either. So I hit a few characters and tried to save, but instead received another clear frame that says "Abnormal Execution Error". It refuses to close, and since there's no buttons or text I have no idea what to do. But whatever it is, whenever I move my mouse off the task bar it loses the focus, and switching to Videopad I still get the drop-down menus but Ctrl-S no longer works. And when I go back to my desktop, double-clicking on an icon won't run the program, but a right-click/open will do the trick. But my left mouse button still works for all its other functions, and it was working before the abnormal execution window opened, so whatever that is it has something to do with all of this. And I checked, no file was ever saved either. I used good ol' Ctrl-Alt-Del to enter up the Task manager to see if that would tell me anything, but was instead met with a completely black screen. Switched my monitor on and off, no effect, couldn't tell if the menu was actually there or if my pc had simply crashed. I hit the sleep button on my keyboard and BAM, blue screen of death. My computer officially died, and all the time I spent on my project was lost. According to Vista, my graphics drivers crashed, but they're fully up-to-date. And none of my other programs had the issue. Plus that doesn't explain the double-click thing. So does this program really hate NVidia that much? If so, I will be extremely disappoint.
