I have version 5.06 of the iphone app, that is the latest. I'm talking about recording to MP3 on the iphone app, not the PC software.

Try new version. It records to mp3 out of box.

I am not showing any updates for the iPhone app in the app store's update screen. How do I get the updated version?

I don't think you understand my question. I didn't mention mkv at all, so I'm not sure what your answer is referring to. My question, is, is it possible to have the RecordPad iPhone app record in mp3 format, instead of WAV/GSM?

The PC software let's you choose what format you want to record in, but the iPhone app does not.

I have set up the ftp info on my iPhone for my recordings, but when I click the "test ftp connection" button, it says my ftp server is good, my login is good, but it can never change to the directory I want to upload to. has anyone else been able to ftp from their iPhone app? Is this a bug?
