  1. Thanks blob! I moved a track to a new track and my other tracks showed up again! (also, the tracks remembered the names I had given them...at first they were showing up as just Soundtrack1 and Soundtrack2) Whew. I thought I was going to have to start all over.

When I first played with VideoPad, I wasn't able to mute the original audio track. If you look in the lower-left corner, there's a section called 'Audio Track' and to the right of that is a squiggly line representing the audio track that came with my original video clip. If I right-click the squiggly line, I can choose to 'Unlink Sound Clip(s)' and it moves that audio down to the row for 'Soundtrack 1'. Then I can right-click the squiggly line in 'Soundtrack 1' and delete it by choose 'Remove selected clip(s)'
  3. For the still picture part, I found that I could change the length of time the photo was displayed by highlighting it in the video track, then hovering over the light-blue dividing line between clips until my cursor changed to that icon that means I can make the photo clip longer or shorter.
  4. Did you use seven audio tracks in VideoPad or in a different program? I tried using 3 audio tracks and it seemed to work fine. I saved and closed my project. When I returned to it, I could hear all 3 tracks -- but could only access 2 of them to edit the audio tracks. I could no longer figure out how to bring up the third track. Anyone else run into this?
