  1. Thanks 4 ur reply! I am based in Italy by the way. I tried with prepending numbers (it does not work with letters) to the caller id box in the ext lines advanced settings, as you suggested. Unfortunately, although prepended digits are shown in axon, when I have to pick up the phone in Express Talk, only the caller Id without the digits is shown. I tried also with axon and express talk running on two different pcs, but got the same results. I will also try two different pcs on two different networks, but I don't think its going to work. Nevertheless, your advice is going to be useful for another issue I came accross during my testing, that is, logging and billing phone calls. My business idea involves making calls answered by Ivm free and calls answered by a person with Express Talk paid. Unfortunately the axon log (which is the only one I found to be monthly and to show call duration) only shows the caller ID and the final extension that terminates the call. By prepending the digits to each line caller id, I can filter the calls received by each line and filter again the ones answered by the ivm extension or the Express talk extension. Still haven't looked at cases of calls transefered form ivm to express talk, but i think that with a bit of extra work I can figure out the duration by means of Vcr log if I set all the calls answered by Express Talk to be recorded. Of course the biggest problem remains the fact I can't know what number is being called when I answer tha phone call. If you can think of onother solution to this problem, I would be very happy otherwise I think that, although I like this software, I have to look at some other soft pbx. Thank again for you help.
  2. I have axon + express talk, and I have the following problem: I would like to see the number that the caller has dialed (as each number belongs to a different company) in order to answer accordingly. I noticed that, during an incoming call, Express talk shows me the caller id twice in the pup up bubble on the line button. Is that normal? Or should the two lines displayed in the bubble be the dialed number and the caller id, so that one knows who is calling who? I have searched the web and the nch forum for DNIS (Dialed Number Identification Service) issue but I haven't found anything useful. I am quite surprised of that as the DNIS is an important feature for pbx and ivr system. Maybe I should have posted in the axon forum, but I found nothing there about Dnis either. If anybody came accross my same problem, some support would be appreciated.
