Express Dictate has been working fine since we purchased it in May until one day last week. It has stopped recording. When you press the record button on the vDictate microphone, it appears to record. The record button turns red, the volume meter moves up and down as if it is recording, but no recording takes place. I've checked all settings in set-up according to your manual and online help. But cannot get it to record. Please advise.
Bill, I use LogMeIn. I drag the audio file from my office PC to my home PC and transcribe it with Express Scribe on my local computer. Then I drag the transcript back into my office network folders. I've never tried to control Express Scribe through LogMeIn because it is much slower that way, so I just drag the audio file to my local machine. Hope that helps. Rita
