Correct, Debut is only to capture your PC monitor. If you are already have the TV streaming to your machine some how this will work, It will not find the channels for you however. Flashlynx downloads the actual file by URL , as opposed to capturing whats on your screen. There are many TV channels that broadcast through a URL, and you can downlaod shows with flashlynx via this means.
I found that if I did capture video wizard in Windows Movie maker then closed movie maker and opened debut it would work but after a reboot it goes back, tried with another program and it doesn't work same - problem now is that movie maker is crashing my computer - not sure if it is a conflict with Debut or not....
