The FAQ page just says your can't import a CSV file, I didn't see anything else but that about importing data. My question is, is there any other way to import data? Can I directly manipulate the data files at all? Thanks.
  2. I just stumbled on this software today, so hopefully you figured it out. But I was able to install it on an OpenSUSE 11.1 machine with no issue. I did have to enter the root password during the install, but otherwise, it worked just fine.
  3. I am looking at using Express Invoice for a small home owners association. I've been looking for a while for something low/no cost since we are small and this may do it for us. I'd really like to use the Linux version, since I can package it with a no-cost OS as well, but that version doesn't have the web service. Can anyone tell me if that will be added at any time? Also, are there any plans to add better data import/export functions? It scares me a bit to store this data in a proprietary system that I can't export from. Are the data files easy to decipher/read? Thanks!

I have the same question.. is there absolutely any way possible to import customer data? I stumbled over Express Invoice looking for something simple to use for our Home Owners Association since our old software (CAI Treasurer) has long been defunct. But I hate to have to type in all the customers by hand. On a related note, it doesn't seem like there are many data export options in Express Invoice either, which has me a bit concerned about using it.
