I have installed the system and it is recording well. The only problem I face is that the during call it may generate up to 5 or more files, even though some are only 10 seconds long and then one is 30 seconds long, etc. AAny ideas how to overcome this problem and it is making the system unmanageable to review the calls themselves. I have the the system setup to voice activated recording...

I had a similiar problem. It turned out that the cable I was using was not a straight RJ11, but a crossover cable. Once I changed the cable it worked great.
