I have an internal and an external CD/DVD Drive. Sometimes, if it won't work on one, it will work on the other. Also, once the CD or DVD is recognized on the recognizeable drive, it will start working on the other drive. I know that doesn't make sense, but it happens sometimes. Sometimes its just a bad disk. Try another one or brand.
