Greetings,
i keep encountering mp3enc.exe crashing on a couple different machines while recording with recordpad. I'm recording 64kbps mono mp3s and the recording will start, but then randomly, i'll get the windows error saying mp3enc.exe has an unexpected error. The mp3 file being recorded stops being written and the record counter in recordpad pauses, but once I hit OK on the unexpected error message, the record timer continues. but i'm left with a corrupted/incomplete file.
This happens on two different machines, one running WinXP in VMWare Fusion on my mac, and another Thinkpad with XP native.
Any thoughts?
I've tried reinstalling the lame codec from the components page, but the error still occurs.
