That was the first thing we tried. I think both links point to the same program. I am not sure if this id deliberate or a mistake. But I soure wish they would fix it...

My parents have downloaded Express Talk Basic and it expires after 14 days. It is now asking them to register. How do they get past the registration so they can use the free version? They have no need for advanced features. Is there a better choice for a simple (SIP enabled) softphone on the MAC? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Dave

Did you ever get your problem resolved? My parents are haveing the same problem. I tried NCH support bt just got a blow-off auto-reply e-mail. Looks a lot like the free version is just "bait and switch" spam for search engines?

Have you been able to run express talk on Linux yet? There are lots of other softphone choices for Linux. I am using Ekiga and it works just as well as express talk basic.
