Hi keywest No the footpedals dont work. I hacked an old keyboard that I had and re-wired the footpedals to emulate pressing the F7, F9 and F4 keys.

OK the problem is in the Files path in Settings. The default path is only accessible by the sysadmin. Setting a new path for each user fixed it. Unfortunately all the uninstalling/re-installing seems to have killed our ability to play dss files now. Have to use Switch to convert to wav.

We have been using v4.19 on a terminal server (Win 2003 Server R2) for ages with no problems. We upgraded this week to v4.22. Now only the system administrator profile can load files in Scribe. Regular users can start Scribe and see the audio files in the directory but they will not load. So we tried dropping back to v4.19 by uninstalling and deleting everything that said NCH in the registry. Then loaded essetup from our backup tape. Ran the install and 4.19 comes up fine but still has the same problem - only system admin profile can load files in Scribe.
