  1. I purchased a license about 1.5 years ago. I had to reformat my pc and now I don't have my IVM software. I have the key/id code information, but it seems I need to download the same version that I had. Where can I get it... anyone know? Thanks S.
  2. I love the reply rate in this forum.... I fixed the problem by switching to a different modem... which really isn't fixing it. However, sound problems are gone and everyone's happier... or nicer to me at least. Scott
  3. I'm working on building a small system setup with IVM Attendant Software for a small church. We have 4 phone lines (and really only need one to be used for IVM since the rest are transferred to). With a small system, no high-powered server, and a limited budget, what are some of the better and less expensive ($75 or less) voice modems that we should look into? We can't spend $1500 on a telephony card, but neither do we need one. However, so far, my experience hasn't been good with the common-sold modems. Scott
  4. I'm having an issue with my voicemail. The IVM attendant used to be on a different pc in another room, but recently I moved it over to a faster pc and a dedicated connection. The only issue I've had with the new setup is voicemail recording. There is EXCESSIVE noise in the recording making it near impossible to hear the actual message. I've troubleshot (correct wording on that past tense of troubleshoot) a bit and haven't found a clue. I've tried different recording levels, different encoders. I thought maybe the phone line is the problem, but on a regular phone, incoming and outgoing audio is fine. And, the playback is perfect. The same problem occurs when a user calls in a self-records their own greeting. The problem most likely occurs in the hardware, but trust me, there's no 'forum' for my voice modem. WinXP Pro IVM 3.05 (not that I know what that means) SmartLink 56K Modem (with updated drivers) Thanks for any help!! Scott
