Since I cannot find how to post a new Q, can I ask if the same question above in regards to WAV files? To back track, I had to get ES on new PC win 7. After the free trial, everything stopped that I used to do. Heck, my PC cant even find my footpedal anymore even if I try a different program altogether and I had used it with ES free trial! This is really frustrating. It seems that ES messes stuff up even if not used. TIA!

Okay, got a new pc few weeks ago, WIN 7, installed current version of ES (free). Worked fine at first but now I get "Format is not supported." I have been using one version or another of ES for 10 years all with DSS files. I know in the past I needed a patch but see nothing in my searches for that. Why all of a sudden does it refuse to load? I wanted to roll back to an older version, but there seems to be none for WIN 7. I use this for work so I need a fix! TIA!

I am furious. I posted on here a long time ago and maybe only ONCE and today I get this! When I clicked on it said Please Help. I assumed it was a question about the problem I had. How creative! I mean, I have all sorts of protection on my PC to guard against porn, but not from someone emailing from here in the guise of needing help! Genius! Got it. Jeez! For anyone else clueless like me, you do not have to use the FTP option. You can set it up from your sound file. I do not remember going through anything confusion like this with my old version. JZ

Me too! Me too! I just downloaded the v4.19. I have never had to enter FTP info into the older version, and assumed it was the address of the website I get my audio from, as I am CLUELESS! So, I entered it and the same thing happened as the OP, it said the server address was okay but not the PW or user name. But then it said it couldn't connect to the server. So I guess the address was not what they wanted? And what is the directory I'm supposed to enter? I am sorry, I am not a tech wiz. I just want to go into my work website and d/l the files and click on load like I used to be able to do and have my files! I do not want to monkey around loading files to the desktop when I s/b able to have it work right. The people at work use a different system so they can't help me. Maybe I'll try what they got... Improvements aren't improvements when they are so difficult. Can someone please help me? (I use XP Pro. ) TIA, JZ
