I tried to save my file as WMA but a message came up saying I don't have the codec. I downloaded WMP 10 and it still doesn't work. How do I fix this? And heres what I dont understand: My voice recorder saves files as WMA, I opened it up, edited it, and it wont save it! How is that possible, I must have the codec since it opened it in the first place, right?

I had an audio file that was 108MB, I edited it (did noise reduction, etc, I think i only did 3 effects on it), I went to copy it back into my voice recorder and it wouldn't. I clicked on properties and saw that it's now 1.09 GB!? How did this happen and how do I get it back to 108 mb? How do I add effects to it without increasing the memory it takes up?

I recorded a lecture on my voice recorder and I would like to clean it up with this software. Besides noise reduction, what else can I do to make the quality of the audio sound as best as possible? The file is saved as WAV.
