  1. thanks so much what takes hours to look up in html does minutes in pdf "www.nch.com.au/ivm/ivmmanual.pdf" = not current "www.nch.com.au/ims/imsmanual.pdf" = "www.nch.com.au/pbx/pbxmmanual.pdf" = i was looking here for a copy of pbx in pdf not found if you would be kind enough to forward a copy of "pbx help in pdf" thanks in advance
  2. does someone have the latest help files in pdf format or know of a application that will convert the entire html help file to pdf or know of how to search the html help file OFFLINE thanks in advance
  3. hy guys, have same issue here witg 4.05 if you disable your internet connection, will it still show "transfer" or go directly to vm. somehow i suspect ivm sees your online connection and insists on trying a voip call. btw: i have background services disable have not tested 4.08 yet more to come
  4. what changed in v4.05 http://www.nch.com.au/ivm/versions.html is this not the official info page???
  5. revision info here: http://www.nch.com.au/ivm/versions.html
  6. hi Korey B, same here, i tell callers that there be a moment of silence so they want hang up, a external moh is required, recently tried moh from viking however the line voltage required was not enough from the voip adapter, there may be others but this one is one of the cheapest about 125.00
  7. hi Tom yur license key is buried in the registry ini file, cant remember right now local,"but it did change in 4.03" if you have yur bought one , go there delete the old and reregister, make copy of what yu delete and compare to new, sometime it will not overwrite an existing license
  8. hi Tom, there is only a couple of things that can cause "choppy" sound, bad driver, low memory, bad recording, low bandwith driver = yus worked before, any new install since?? memory = make sure ivm runs in high or more process level, default is normal. sound = listen to your sound file with wmedia or something other than ivm, ck 4 quality i dont produce wav files with ivm, it can but its not designed to do so, try this "textaloud", stay with wav if you have plenty of space and not up/down loading files. "min compression" disable ivm service, run fore ground only. several reasons here among is license ckeck. ivm moved system file location from what they state in help files, before u reinstall, make sure yu have good backup. i don't think i saw good uninstaller "how-to" in here, that included licenses key and register info settings removal. try this for starters ps is yur pc dedicated
  9. Want questions answered a.s.a.p!! Provide specifications. operating system? ivm product version? modem/voicecard make & model? analog/voip provider? error logs? Describe your problem in a manner so that the incident can be recreated. Be incident specific.
  10. hi SafeBoy, noticed yr post........what specs? what version?.....feel like old record....look here: "http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=7358" unable to duplicated yur error <----specs!! call volume inbound/outbound/transfers about 400 per month ps: disable background service in v4.03
  11. hi tom, in general speaking when asking support you would provide version, build, application parameters, being in tech support for the last ten years "not with nch" nobody likes to do YOUR job, this being said you might get a faster, more productive response using this approach. Here is a clue......you think there is a difference between version 3.04 and 4.03??mmmmhhh. But don't feel like a lone ranger because 90% of questions ask here are without specs! I feel for nch tech support, especially when they get hammered for being non responsive.
  12. <---specs right now the relationship is "many-to-one" meaning, all identified calls can only be routed to one ogm. I need to route "one-to-one" can this be done. thanks answered: http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php?show...mp;hl=caller+id http://nch.invisionzone.com/index.php?show...mp;hl=caller+id
  13. hi all using "pseudo-transfer" as desribed here ================================ "Using attendant type menus on a single line (eg. Home or Small Business use) This is called pseudo-transfer. The call is not really transferred. IVM plays an "on-hold" message while announcing who the call is for through the speakers. When you pick up a call you just press # to 'take' the call. Otherwise IVM can be set to send the call to a voice mail box after a set time. The summary instructions are: (1) Create an OGM (the "Hold OGM") with an message of say "please hold the line" then say 3 minutes of "hold" music". (2) Under the Key Response tab of the Hold OGM's Properties have: Press '#' - Hang-up (immediate). (3) Under the Advanced tab of the Hold OGM's Properties, tick the "announce call through speakers" option and browse to find a suitable wav file (ideally this could say... "Call for ..."). (4) Under the Key Response tab of the Main OGM's Properties have Press 1 - "Go to OGM... Hold OGM". When a caller presses 1, you will here the account file (eg. Call for Jay") through your speakers while the caller hears hold music. To 'take' the call simply pickup the phone and press #." ============================= works grt! i have announcement file playing as long as the moh (ivm) is playing....... when i press # to stop ivm, it will not kill the external announcement file, i have to turn speaker volume down to stop the caller from hearring the announcement file. i rather kill the mp3 file than shorting it is there a fix i overlooked ================================= got this fix from a buddy instead of "hangup" create new ogm "killanouncement", all keys "noresponse", create killanouncement.txt file rename to killanouncement.mp3,tick "announce call through" in your new ogm, select this file to play as an announcement file in your new "killanouncement" ogm benefit: you can play your announcement files for the duration of the music on hold time. a "fixme" in my book for the longest.
