  1. Good afternoon, We have been unable to use IVM & Axon since it will not transfer calls for clients that are using BroadVoice. I have looked at inphonex since it is a reccomended provider for this software and I didn't see any restrictions on the software capabilities with this VoIP provider. Does anyone have a stable install of IVM & Axon pbx running with inphonex as their provider? If so: 1. Will the IVM answer and transfer call properly? 2. How do you like inphonex 3. This website mentioned the possibility of delays in the call. Has this been a problem for you? 4. Any other information, tips etc.? If this works well with inphonex and inphonex service is quality we are hoping to use IVM and Axon in our next install. Thanks again,
  2. Well maybe next time. Since we can't find a solution to the IVM transfer problem and the developer doesn't take calls or respond to their own forums we will be using 3CX for our client installs. I was really looking forward to using this software (excellent feature list) but the lack of information and support is troubling. Best of luck
  3. Good afternoon, I figured out transfering from extension to extension. Now if I can get the IVM to transfer calls to extensions...
  4. BroadVoice has been pretty dependable so far. We also like the unlimited calling in the US and Canada for one low, flat monthly fee. What are some other providers that would have a similar (or better ) quality and pricing structure?? Thanks again
  5. After reading in another post and reading it on another page on the website it appears that IVM and Axon will not transfer calls when you are using BroadVoice as your VoIP provider. 1. Is this accurate? 2. If so is there a work around? 3. Is this going to be fixed in the near future? Thanks again
  6. Good morning, So Axon and IVM will not transfer calls when used with BroadVoice? That is a shame since we have a variety of clients we were thinking of moving to Axon that use BroadVoice. We have been using 3CX and it works well with BroadVoice. Any idea if this will be fixed for Axon in the near future or is there a work around? Thanks again
  7. Good morning Gergale, We have been using 3CX in the past and are evaluating Axon. How do you set up IVM to work with 3CX? Do you set it up as an extension in 3CX?
  8. A quick update. I can now call internal extensions just fine. I can't seem to transfer calls though. when ever I hit transfer on the phone and begin entering the extension it goes to a fast busy signal before I can finish entering a 3 digit extension. I get as far as 2 digits and then I get a fast busy signal. Any ideas?? Thanks again
  9. Good morning, I have Axon set up on a dedicated server. I am using 2 Polycom Soundpoint IP 330 phones that are registered to the server as extension 101 and 102. I can call out with both phones and I can call into the server with the VoIP line ringing extension 101 directly. I attempted to call extension 102 from extension 101 but I get an error message "The number you have dialed is not in service..." . Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I just punch in the number 102 and hit dial. Is there some setting that I need to set to allow internal extension to extension calls?? Thanks again.
  10. Good morning, I have the OGM set as follows: right click OGM->properties->key response->Menu (single key press) right click OGM->properties->key response->Press 1 -> Transfer Call-> Details->Number 101->blind transfer I also changed the settings as follows: IVM Answering Attendant->settings->settings->Telephony->VoIP Call Attendant->properties->Options->Allow Outbound and message forward calls on this line (checked) It still says it has transfered and drops the line while no call is transfered. Logs as follows: 08:03:50 Incoming SIP call 08:03:52 VoIP Call Attendant xxxxxxxxxxx [Answered] 08:03:52 Answering call... 08:03:52 Answered line [1 "VoIP Call Attendant"] call number [19] cid [xxxxxxxxxxx] did[198] drn[0 (0ms)] 08:03:52 Text-to-Speech Synthesis: Thank you for calling SSI 08:03:57 Caller pressed key [1] 08:03:57 Command - Transfer 08:03:57 Dialing: ! 08:03:57 Dialing complete 08:03:58 Dialing: 101 08:03:59 Dialing complete 08:04:01 Dialing complete 08:04:01 Blind transfer complete so drop call 08:04:01 Call has disconnected I noticed that the IVM has port 5070 set for SIP. I have changed it to 5060 and back to 5070 which had no effect. Thanks again.

  12. Another update. I figured out how to get the IVM to answer the calls. My problem now is that after it answers I have my OGM set up as a menu (ie press 1 for john) but when I press 1 the IVM fails to transfer to the extension. The logs are as follows: 20:42:34 Incoming SIP call 20:42:36 VoIP Call Attendant xxxxxxxxxxx [Answered] 20:42:36 Answering call... 20:42:37 Answered line [1 "VoIP Call Attendant"] call number [11] cid [xxxxxxxxxxx] did[198] drn[0 (0ms)] 20:42:37 Text-to-Speech Synthesis: Thank you for calling Acme 20:42:42 Caller pressed key [1] 20:42:42 Command - Transfer 20:42:42 Dialing: ! 20:42:42 Dialing complete 20:42:43 Dialing: 101 20:42:43 Dialing complete 20:42:45 Dialing complete 20:42:45 Blind transfer complete so drop call 20:42:45 Call has disconnected Anyone know why the calls are failing to transfer to the extension?? Thanks again
  13. Good evening, I have the exact same problem and am also using BroadVoice. I have tried a few of the other settings (confirm transfer) and it hasn't solved the problem. I have just begun evaluating this software this evening and have to have an answer by tomorrow The software seems to be very good and assuming we can get this figured out we will be using it for an installation this week The logs are as follows: 20:42:34 Incoming SIP call 20:42:36 VoIP Call Attendant xxxxxxxxxxx [Answered] 20:42:36 Answering call... 20:42:37 Answered line [1 "VoIP Call Attendant"] call number [11] cid [xxxxxxxxxxx] did[198] drn[0 (0ms)] 20:42:37 Text-to-Speech Synthesis: Thank you for calling Acme 20:42:42 Caller pressed key [1] 20:42:42 Command - Transfer 20:42:42 Dialing: ! 20:42:42 Dialing complete 20:42:43 Dialing: 101 20:42:43 Dialing complete 20:42:45 Dialing complete 20:42:45 Blind transfer complete so drop call 20:42:45 Call has disconnected Anyone have any ideas? Thanks again
  14. A quick update. I found that the call attendant was on extension 198 so I now have the line directed to that extension. The logs show that incoming calls are being directed to the IVM now but the call just rings and rings and isn't answered. Any ideas?? Thanks again.
  15. Good evening, I am getting ready to implement a VoIP solution for a client in the next few days. We were initially going to use 3CX but after reviewing the capabilities offered with Axon we decided to evaluate this software first. Please keep in mind that I am brand new to this software as of this evening . Naturally everyone wants the evaluation completed yesterday I have just completed installation on a test server and have successfully completed calls between internal and external extensions and calls from outside phones to extensions. I want to be able to set up the system so that incomming calls are answered by an automated attendant that provides options for the caller (i.e. press 1 for John, press 2 for Jill, etc.). I would also like the incomming caller to be able to dial an extension at any time to be connected. I have been able to direct incoming calls on an external line to specific extensions or groups but I can't seem to figure out how to have the IVM answer the line with an OGM?? When ever a call comes in I can only direct it to extensions, or groups?? Anyone know what I am missing ?? My system is as follows: OS: Windows Server 2003 SP2 Enterprise Edition. RAM: 1Gig Hard Drive 250 Gigs (95% Free) Software Installed: Axon PBX (v1.3), IVM(v4.05), IMS, VRS,Quorum, NCH Toolbox, Skype Uplink (These are all free eval versions) This is a dedicated server with no other functions other then bing an Axon machine. The system is also 100% VoIP with standard computer hardware. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
