  1. Sorry to bump this up, but has anyone had a similar thing happen to them? I really don't get what this message means: VWPlanIsValid Default It comes up everytime I try an make an outgoing call. Then the call fails by saying: Incoming call failed Unable to find any lines with the ID "xxx" or extensions with the ID "anonymous" The fact is that I'm dialing out not in and my dialling plan is set to dial on the external line no matter what the number. So I'm not sure what is happening. Any help would be greately appreciated.
  2. This is what I was looking for. It fixed the problem thank you. Alex
  3. Hi all, Axon has suddenly stopped working properly. I haven't changed anything but to reboot the system. Now I cannot dial out anymore from the phone I have connected to my SPA3102. The setup was working properly before but now whenever I dial I get the following errors: Incoming call failed Unable to find any lines with the ID "xxx" or extensions with the ID "anonymous." My dial plan is set so that if I dial three zeros (000) the call is transfered to an extension, otherwise the call is placed on the external line. Another log message that I hadn't seen before is this: VWPlanIsValid Default I'm not sure what is wrong. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
  4. Hi all, I've been having a lot of difficulty with my setup of SPA3102 + Axon 2.0 + VRS 5.11. My calls are dropped very suddenly when I am in the middle of a conversation or leaving a message. I think I have narrowed down the problem to this: when I am talking to someone and they are not saying anything for an extended period (about 15 seconds) or when I am leaving a voicemail message for someone, the call is disconnected. Axon does not return any errors and just says that the call was disconnected. I have checked the forum for similar issues and I haven't been able to find anything that solved my problem. I have tried using the "Disable call activity polling" option, but that hasn't solved the problem. I looked in VRS's settings and there was nothing about threshold or anything like that. I read in the manual that there is a control on signal threshold level and a detect time (default 12 sec) but that seems to apply to only hardware lines, not VoIP/Axon lines. Axon doesn't seem to have any settings for this as well. I'm thinking it might be related to SPA-3102 and line settings. I'm not sure what I need to do and which component of the system is causing this issue. If anyone has any suggestions I would be thankful. Regards, Alex
  5. Hi Dan, Well I get cut off when the other side is silent for more than 15-30 seconds (it is really hard to time it exactly). I looked in VRS's settings and there was nothing about threshold or anything like that. axon doesn't seem to have any settings for this as well. I'm thinking it might be related to SPA-3102 and line settings. I was hoping someone had experienced this before and could tell me what things I could try. If anyone has any suggestions I would be thankful. Alex

  7. Hi all, I have axon installed and working with a Linksys SPA3102 box. I also have VRS working to record all outgoing calls on my landline extension. I am able to successfully dial out and record the conversations, but after the call is connected for about a minute and fifteen seconds, the call is dropped all of a sudden and I get a busy signal. I've tried disabling polling for the external line, but that hasn't solved the problem. I'm wondering what could be the reason for this issue. Thanks, Still PS: let me know if I need to supply more information.

    IVM Fax Transfer

Hi all, I have setup a SPA-3102 adapter and connected my fax machine to it. I would like to make sure that calls answered by IVM which are fax calls to be transferred to the fax machine so that I can receive the fax. Is this possible? I've been looking around in IVM help and the forum to find out how I could set up the fax transfer. There seems to be an option for this but I just can't seem to find it. Any help is much appreciated. Regards
  9. Sorry to revive this old post, but the discussion applies to my situation. I'm looking to create a phone system on one of my home computers to act as an answering machine and allowing other computers to recieve calls and caller-id information. The reason I want to do this if first, my current answering machine fills up under the current demands, and second I want to designate a PC as a computer where a centralized phone book is stored as well as a calendar system for the whole family. I'm not sure if the solution you've been talking about in this post applies. But I would be thankful if you could elaborate on the process and where I could get started to understand what I need and how to set it up. Thanks
