I have converted a wav file in Switch. Loads ok into ExpressScribe but when I play it, the file simply repeats words - like a record where the needle gets stuck. Can anyone help? ExpressScribe wouldn't load the wav file, telling me it did not have the codec. The wav file is an MPEG Audio Lay 3 128 kbps file. Thanks Liz

It definitely is five hours long. I am going to have to download the old version - such a shame.

I have had exactly the same problem and I am not even using a Sony. I have now given up on the new version and have downloaded the oldest version I could find. Search on Google for Express Scribe 4.01 and up will come the free downloads. I have downloaded it and it works perfectly. No more partially loaded files! A great pity that tech support doesn't sort this out. Hope this helps.

Help! When I load an MP2 audio file from disk it only partially loads the audio file. The loading counter runs ok 100% and then I find instead of, say, 5 hrs loaded, it has only loaded 1 hour. I have downloaded the current ExpressScribe - same thing happening. I have also tried copying audio file to hard drive and retrieving it from there. Same thing happens. Can anyone assist?
