This is exactly the answer. The dss32.dll file that is 204 kb is BAD. The one that is 184 or 186 kb works!!!! Deb Ruthenberg

I think it might be a quirk that one machine is working. I still think the version 4.16 is messed up and will not play dss files. NCH needs to fix as soon as possible and in the meantime, bring back version 4.15, which worked well for me.
