My wife creates a slideshow & gets it ready to export. When she saves it she notices that some of the slides have moved to a different location. Why does this happen?

Some tv's need the usb chip to be a FAT32 format.

hell of a note when I have to un-install a program & then re-install it to fix what should be a minor glitch. program now works.

I did use the command: "file>backup file to folder" and took it to my computer's version of PhotoStage and it worked well. So the problem lies in the version on my wife's laptop. I just do not see where the preferences tab is located (if there is one)

Here's another problem. I have created my slide show and have added text to my slides using the text overlay button. It works fine! (I am using ver.:9.84) My wife (on a new laptop using the same version & licensed) has a problem with the text button. Instead of showing the image & being able to type on it she gets the checkerboard image. The type does show up but she wants to be able to SEE the image while typing. The settings are the same in both of the text overlay boxes so I do not know whyere the errant setting is located.

I I have created multiple slideshows on my desktop. All is well. I now need to continue working on these projects on my laptop. I put the working spj file on a usb stick but PhotoStage doesn't see it. The laptop does when I open file explorer. I do have licensed versions on both machines. Ideas???

Never Mind...had a brain cramp. I was hitting the blue back arrow instead of the save icon.

add on: I have 42 slides @ 6 sec each, 2 sec duration so far with a total duration of 1:30 sec. for giggles I changed the durations to 5 sec. when I added another slide it took it until I tried to save the show. it dropped the added slide. the program doesn't want to go beyond 42 slides. WHERE is the adjustment???

The slide show I am now creating stops at 1:30. I am only about 1/3 the way creating the show. How do I extend the show?? I can add other slides but when I save the extras drop off. I do not see any "preferences" or other controls (as yet).

Before I start a new project would it be helpful if I put the desired music and all of my images in a specific folder and then start my creations? Creating a couple of projects for my wife ended up with stuff scattered everywhere. Tutorials that I can find don't seem to cover this.

Never Mind...Under the Menu tabe I found: file>save as... that's what I was looking for. sorry about the vent.

I would like to save my "spj" file in another folder and/or with different names i.e. "take flight 1; take flight 2" I cannot find where to specify saved locations. Under the export there is a save button but it doesn't say where or give a choice. Under the home button there is a save project (active only after changes made) and an assortment of other save options none of which give me an option of where I'd like it to go. This is a follow on to my post "editing a created MP4"

Solved it! While working on another project I saved it & then I noticed where the new project was being saved. Sooo I took a look and there it was in an un-noticed "docments" folder. My problem was that I had multiple "document" folders on the old computer. The PhotoStage folder was in only 1 of them. Hopefully this will help some other lost soul.

I did put the mp4 in the slide show bar at the bottom and it plays well but it is only one frame wide. got a screenshot but don't know how to upload.

My wife was in the process of creating a slide show. Had all of the slides done including the embellishments. she saved it as an mp4. In the mean time I set up a new computer for her & transferred my PhotoStage to the new machine. I cannot find the working file for this project. She had not as put the music or narration to the show. Can we import the mp4 & continue with the creation? sailor842@live.com
