  1. I just wanted to circle back on this. I ended up doing a complete uninstall using Revo Uninstaller to remove everything. Installed 13.67. Everything is acting as it should so far. Thank you for taking the time to work through this with me.
  2. I will send it over later. Just to be clear though. This issue is happening when I’m trying to load a file from my computer to the media bin. That is the part that has me confused the most. With it unable to load. It will remove the clips if already in the time line. Thank you for your response.
  3. Ok I've been using VP 12.05 64 bit flawlessly since it arrived. I've been working on a project over the last 6 months with zero issues. Out of the blue I started to get "failed to load file" messages when working with existing video assets upon load of my project. I inspected all files, checked names, did my due diligence. Nothing had changed. These were the original files I had used since starting my project. I even attempted changing the file name to see if it was just a glitch. Nothing. No matter what I did I could not load the clip(s). Did a full uninstall and reinstall, problem still there. I eventually upgraded to 13.67, files loaded, but it won't export. Downgraded to 13.66 same scenario. I'd really like to get back to using 12.05, as I said before it has been a rock solid performer. All subsequent updates seem to lag and not give the results that I've enjoyed this far. Any idea as to the root cause in 12.05? My current system specs are CPU - Intel Core - i3-1005G1 @ 1.20GHZ GPU - Standard Intel UHD Graphics Card 32 Gig - Ram 2tb -SSD
  4. Any how to's to re-create the "Saber Effect"? I see it in many forms in different editors. Just think it would be cool to have in Videopad. Also an upgrade to the greenscreen tools would be useful. I like the basics of VP, but you always want that little more.
  5. So I fresh installed 12.00, and put everything back to default settings. So far everything is being retained when saved and reloaded. I did numerous shutdowns of VP and PC, and everything returned as left at project save. Thank you for taking the time. Fingers crossed this issue is resolved.
  6. I put everything back as you instructed. Upon reload the same exact issue presented again. I have been using VP flawlessly with None (CPU ONLY) all day with no loss to any effects.
  7. I enabled none (cpu only), cleared project cache and rebooted. My pc specs are CPU - Intel Core - i3-1005G1 @ 1.20GHZ GPU - Standard Intel UHD Graphics Card 32 Gig - Ram
  8. Thank you for the recommendations above. I applied them and the problem seems to have resolved. I restarted my project numerous times after complete restarts of my pc and everything is holding as left. Thanks again! Fingers crossed it stays good.
  9. I will give the above mentioned a try. Fingers crossed it’s a simple fix. Thanks for the input. If it persists I will upload a segment. Thanks
  10. I am using 11.97. The project I am working on requires a dozen plus tracks. The cropping issue I am having is coming into play it seems to be with only video clips. A typical scenario for how I am doing this is. Loading the video file to my time line. I use motion to resize and reposition, then I will use crop to neaten up the edges of the footage. To keep my resizing neatly in the area I am choosing. I will save the project and when I return. The video that was resized and repositioned and cropped is fully uncropped. But is holding the resize and positions perfectly. This saving issue is also happening on occasion when saving multiple masks to an effects chain. I will save the chain, the project, relaunch the project. The masks at the top of the chain (Just like the crops) are fully gone upon reload. These are the primary effects I use. I am uncertain if it occurs with others. The masks I typically used are to create non light areas. I am currently using the program for projection mapping purposes. I’ve done uninstalls and fresh installs of new updates and nothing seems to correct this. But I will try again.
  11. Created a cropped video image in a segment. Saved project, Reopened project. Cropped image back to original size, on clip preview and output. Click effects, every other effect shown and unchanged, crop totally deleted from effect chain.
  12. So I'm in the midst of a lengthy project. I was orginally working in VP 8.93 and decided to upgrade to 11.93. This is proving to be a big mistake on my part. Started creating effects chains/templates for effects. After I create the effect chain, name it, save it. When I save my entire project for later work and return. Without fail, every time effects included in the chain are gone, but not every effect. It appears the last two or three effects used in the chain, just disappear. The project is just a mess and I don't always have the time to go back and fix every little thing.. Anyone else experiencing this? Any work around? I've sent bug reports to NCH there has been 3 maintenance updates since I first sent my issue over to them, and nothing for this problem I'm encountering is being resolved or any input from them as to why this is happening. All I get is "It's been sent to the developers attention" Any input appreciated. I've been using VP for quite a few years and never had this issue before. It has always been a solid performer. Thanks
