  1. It's OK. But how did you do that? The one I exported at 1:1 was pretty different, wasn't it?
  2. Yeah, this is the original one, 16:9 I suppose: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bivEUGuxZudBASsxzhUkCjQllESdu_OS/view?usp=sharing And this is the 1:1 (1080x1080 px) one, "square": https://drive.google.com/file/d/1q4aBZYUGWgzamRTzZDgIYrqFZf2PRyRN/view?usp=sharing The problem is on my screen it doesn't look like a suare at all. It looks like a rectangle: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JsnDv-Dg2url--TBZsaoWjQ_qa0KTB0G/view?usp=sharing Why?
  3. Thanks, it's perfect! I do like there are more possible solutions to the same problem. Returning to the 1:1 aspect ratio problem (Facebook): I've uploaded my video exported at 1080x1080 but it doesn't look like the one you shared above (posted September 1). https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Aidnn62Lvo7O_M54YuYxVokUCk5m_THv?usp=sharing What could cause the difference? Greg
  4. Thanks again, you are fantastic! The official customer service hast just given the nonsensical answer to me: "Under the 'Sequence Preview' window, you may change the Aspect Ratio and adjust it accordingly." :))) Of course it doesn't work... Sincerely: Greg
  5. Hi Borate: That works perfectly!!! I have an other related question anyway. If I place an image on Track2, it usually doesn't fit the original screen (Track1). So there are black bars of varying thickness on the edge(s) of the image as you see below. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Aidnn62Lvo7O_M54YuYxVokUCk5m_THv?usp=share_link The only solution I know is to cut out a part of Track1 and insert the new image instead of it but it is time consuming and what is worse I lose the affected part of Track1 so I cannot change it later. How can I make a new image on Track2 fit the screen without chopping Track1? Thanks for your reply in advance: Greg
  6. The problem is that on Facebook it looks like this - doesn't fit the feed/timeline at all: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iEJsbEyEgcImogW5JJj7TWGRc0NsS7ry/view?usp=sharing
  7. Original screen: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Mfn425fNu6afrkjxtubuYW9AinrsI1qy/view?usp=sharing What is a much bigger problem, I cannot delete a wrong text line from subtitles, it is somehow stuck! I select the text line and press 'delete' in vain again and again. Why? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u2efxlvfbioVxS4awIigJqUQnDf1ELv5/view?usp=sharing
  8. Well done, it really works! But the 1:1 format which fits Facebook feed completely is still out of my reach. With using Zoom it looks like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1I98razhjLMtHUHHIlESL-cfiWhSJ9oFp/view?usp=sharing With using Crop it's like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DF5Ul0n8-bkYkonzQACjfHwD-r2MLrOT/view?usp=sharing What can I do it be like this, that is it fit Facebook feed completely? https://drive.google.com/file/d/166lujum0BOo_i2xKzgfcHSvQvRaONuke/view?usp=sharing Thanks in advance: Greg
  9. Hi: I checked the thread you mentioned but it seems a bit more complicated than what I need... I simply need a 1:1 video aspect ratio to be cut or zoomed from a different aspect ratio (16:9) - without black borders at the top and the bottom. I believe I have to use Zoom effect. The problem is it seems I have to zoom every part of my video (between the cutting points, inserted images etc.) separately which is pretty annoying. Isn't there an option to zoom the whole video in one? I hope you understand what I mean... Sincerely, Greg
  10. Hello everybody. My mobile phone records video in 16:9 format. I would like to 'convert' it into a 1:1 format which fits Facebook and Insta news feed best but without black strips/borders top and bottom. What is the simpliest way to achieve this? Would you put it down for me step by step? Should I do it before of after cutting the video? I know there's something to do with 'Zoom' effect but it seems pretty complicated to me. I'm looking for the simpliest way... Greg
  11. Thanks for your very valuable assistance. Are you a member of the support team? If yes, I would give you an excellent rating... Can I turn to you for help in other cases as well? If yes, here or in a new topic? Sincerely: Greg
  12. Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.70 GHz Memory: 8,00 GB System: 64-bit processor architecture Operational System: Windows 10 Home 21H2 None (CPU only) setting seems to solve the problem!!! 👍👍👍 Do you think my processor is too weak for VideoPad Editor Pro?
  13. OK I restarted the program and then I managed to export the video indeed --- BUT in the exported video the blanks are still present. 0:00:03 0:00:18 0:03:18
  14. I have installed version 11.86 as you said. Now the project file is clean for me as well! But I am not able to export it. Error message (with yellow letters): "Failed: The video source does not meet the requirements for...")
  15. Hi, I have just started to use VideoPad Editor but it is very disappointing for me. In a very important project of mine I see black splodges/blanks at the cutting points in the project file AS WELL AS in the output video - and I cannot get rid of them. Could you help me as it is a very important project for me and I should present it today :((( There must be a solution to this problem... You can download the portable project video via this link: https://we.tl/t-Vhg9uhAz8I Blanks/splodges are at: 0:00:03 0:00:18 0:03:18
