Finally solved this - you need to go to HAL folder in library but make sure you're searching the root (on mac - cmd shift g then / then enter) and not the user drive.

I moved Voxal and all related items to the trash but this driver keeps showing up and taking over my microphone during calls. NCH has generic uninstall information and there is no relevant support documentation. Please help.
