  1. ya... same for us all man! There was nothing wrong with the 10 year old version. now, there is a lot wrong. Good luck and awesome video footage!! I'm envious!!
  2. I've been editing sports video for 30 years... and when it comes to zoom, speed changes, cropping, picture on picture etc, LESS is better!! you bring up 2 seasoned veterans. put one on an older version of VP and one on this newer version, with the same project, and let's just see who gets done first and is sitting drinking their coffee waiting for the other one to get done. THE ONLY thing that could be improved from the older version is video ENHANCEMENT only!! All the new bells and whistled DO NOTHING to make things easier. It's nothing but someone trying to show all the new abilities the new VP has to offer and when it's all said and done, it's NOTHING but an extra 117 steps to do something that used to take 3 man... js...
  3. Using that GUI, unless you select 16:9...5:4... 9:16 what ever, you have to be PRECISE!! in dragging corners to crop or zoom or your video distorts. I cannot believe they let this go out like it is. I would have fired whoever allowed it to pass BETA stage of design. Older version...: Drag and drop corners for resize of zoom, and the immediately drag and drop the new size box on the desired area. Now, you have to physically select "Position" to move your box, unless you're using Keyframes. Which, BTW. is a good addition utilizing it for animating, I can't believe what a TASK it is to edit video with all the extra crap now. Bring back the old versions as an option of Purchase!! You'll make a mint!!
  4. Greetings, Using a newer version of VideoPad "Professional" for Windows 10 and cant tell you how much I miss my version for Windows 7!!!!!!! for one, and just about THE BIGGEST irritant I have is everytime you change a clip speed, a big obnoxious yellow bar appears across the bottom of the screen informing me the sound clip has been adjusted! REALLY?? Every single time??? Have your programmers/designers begin to think we are all stupid?? The list goes on about all the really poor "Advancements" in this modern version. It honestly tells me, that some of your designers have never edited video. But the reason I just joined the forum here... I add 12 clips to the project. drag and drop them all on the timeline. Export the vid and all that plays is the first clip on the sequence, and loops 12 times(or how ever many other clips are on the timeline. Just started happening. Restarted my computer thinking I may have a a corrupted cmd line prompt somewhere and even after restart, it does it again. Anyone in the know I thankyou in advance for any insight... I sure do wish I could get a key and install my 12 year old version of VideoPad. 10... no, 100 times better than this new crap... ...You have to physicallly pic the size of the clip to resize it of zoom!! you just cant drag the box corners and/or sides without distorting the playback??? Really? What possible benifit did ANYONE see in that "Improvement?? Rant over! Ciao...
