likeabird
Help! I'm trying to transcribe research subject interviews from a CD-R that plays fine in Windows Media Player but not in Express Scribe. Apparently the VCD file format is not currently supported. 1) Does NCH plan to support VCD any time soon? -or- 2) Anyone know the best software for converting VCD to WAV or other currently supported audio format? Thanks so much.

likeabird
OK, thanks for the info on the future. For the here and now, is there a recommended "best software for converting VCD to WAV or other currently supported audio format"? I've resorted to using Windows Media Player to transcribe .VCD files from a CD-R. It works but it's quite tedious having to toggle back and forth between MS Word and WMP ... as well as having to frequently start/stop. Thanks. nchtj
all I can suggest is to go to videohelp.com, apart from that you may have to do a google search.
