Guest Jez Walton
Hi guys, First of all what a great product, It looks like this is going to fit the needs of my company. I have a problem and I am hoping you are going to be able to help. I have a PC with an Intel modem wunning Win XP Pro A PBX with four incoming lines and 29 extensions. IVM answers the phone fine. I am using the basic script at the moment ! I have changed the option 1 to dial 24 (Call Transfer) When the computer answers I get the standard message, I press 1 on the phone I called I get silence and the extension (24) rings and I answer. I get the message press 1 to answer and 2 not too. I press 1 and the modem hangs up and I loose both calls the one to ext 24 and the external call. Help The PBS I am using is a panasonic KX-TA624 The PBS manual says to transfer a call from a standard telephone Press Recall enter ext no wait for answer then hangup.. Help me please .. Cheers Guys
Guest MarkC
I have a little experience with IVM, I've just been evaluating it myself Insteaad of using just '24' I think you need to put in !24 - the exclamation mark is the equivalent of the Recall (which your manual says you need to dial. I might be completely wrong but hey give it a try! Mark Hi guys,First of all what a great product, It looks like this is going to fit the needs of my company. Cheers Guys Hi, Rather than using the dial option please try using the transfer option. Also nch does not recommend using modems as they cannot be relied on very well and always seem to have these weird and wonderfull problems.
