SOUNDTAP ERROR IN CRATING MP3 FILE!!!

basicially, i have used the trial version of sountap on this computer and it worked fine, apart from obviously the please purchase the full version recording every 5 seconds!!! i then purchased the full version and i cant even get one recording! what happens is i change my audio playback settings to soundtap, open soundtap, open internet page with desired audio, start record on soundtap, soundtap says record mode is on... microphone record mode is on... then i start the audio from the internet, soundtap recognizes this and says it is creating a file to my destination folder, then heres the problem, when the audio finishes and i stop recording, it doesnt say that it has created my file, it just says record mode is off... microphone record mode is off... i have checked in the destination folder and there is nothing. i have tried all sorts of things like stopping the recording on soundtap before the audio finishes etc etc.

 

do you have any ideas as to what could be the problem?? would much appreciate your help.

 

oh yea, i have also downloaded and installed mp3el, like someone advised and i still got the same result as i explained above.
