audio clipping

1] express dictate is supposedly supposed to support mp3 dictation encoding. After being unable to find out how this can be accomplished, I had to turn to support, who then confirmed that it is not working for the mac even with the directions they sent to me.

 

2] the product is unusable at this point with 10.5. Any time I record my dictation and I scrub or rewind back and start recording again, there is TERRRIBLE clipping of audio which makes the resulting audio file almost impossible to get clean transcription completed.

 

I would really appreciate an update as to when a NEW version of express dictate will be available for macintosh users using 10.5
