Guest nchct
Can I configure ClassicFTP to automatically open specific remote and local folders for each different connection? Yes, you can. Follow these steps to set up the default local and remote folders for each connection: 1. Open ClassicFTP 2. Click on the 'File' menu, and select 'Site Manager...' 3. Select the desired connection by clicking on it's name once 4. Click the 'Site Properties' button (the middle one at the bottom of the window) 5. Under 'Initial Remote Directory on First Connection' halfway down this window, select the 'Use this directory always' option 6. Either type in the address of the remote host folder you wish to use by default, or click on the 'Select' button and browse to the folder 7. Under 'Initial Local Directory on First Connection' at the bottom of this window, select the 'Use this directory always' option 8. Either type in the address of the local folder you wish to use by default, or click on the 'Select' button and browse to the folder 9. Click 'OK' at the very bottom of the window 10. Repeat steps 3-9 for any other connections you wish to configure. 11. Click 'Close' You should now have configured your connection(s) to load the appropriate folders when you connect to them.
