To bail you out, I have three very simple questions to ask. If you can answer them before next summer arrives (come next July, I will have lost interest in this topic), I may be able to help you. I'm not going to hold my breath while you think about it (1) Do you (really) _know_ what an "m3u" file is? (2) If so, what would you like to convert it _to_ ? [try not to be upset by this confusing grammatical error--a preposition at the end of a sentence!] (3) What will this do for you, if you manage to make the "conversion"? cutdeep46
I purchased a fully operational program..... 1 itune will play it but the mp3 player I wanted to load it on did not recognize it. 2 I "purchased a program that said it would convert it but would not do as it stated= "switch" switch ya know that thing a school marm swaps one with when one is a smartalec 3 IT will enable me to hear the word of God on mp3 , for we learn by hearing as well as reading. You are a fine ambasider for nch, such grace, such humilty to teach the unlearned thank you very much for your time a simple answer would have been quicker. Guest nchto
An m3u file is simply a playlist, which tells your media player which audio files to start playing. Open the m3u up with notepad and see what type if media file you're attempting to play. If you simply copy the m3u file to your mp3 player it will naturally not play because you have not included the audio files. What happens when you attempt to convert it with Switch? Also, are you using a PC or Mac?

Guest nchto
What do you mean Switch would not recognise it? After you drag the m3u file into Switch and press convert what happens? It sounds as though you're attempting to convert a streaming source... I don't believe this is possible with Switch, you should be using SoundTap for this.
