Using Express Rip in Vista

I have just purchased and installed Express Rip Plus for my Windows Vista PC. The software installed with no problems and the activation worked successfully. The software seemed to Rip a CD successfully into MP3 file format. However, when I tried to play the MP3 files using Windows Media Player IT does not work and gives an error message "The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.".

The MP3 file are also not recognised by my MP3 player (SanDisk). The MP3 file can be played back using the Express Rip software.

Can anyone suggest how I can get around this problem?

I'm unable to replicate this problem here, the files produced by Express Rip are standard mp3s and play fine in both Windows Media Player and my standalone mp3 player. It may be that there is software which restricts the copying of CDs on your computer that could be interfering.
