What is the setup that you are using on the options for the MP3 the Bitrate for the Exporting, The issue is with all the files or just with this file because could be the file also the problem? Try to reinstall. Uninstall your software first, then go to the folder location below on your computer then delete the Switch folders:

C:\ProgramData\NCH Software
C:\Users\(Your computer profile)\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Switch

If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files.

After deleting the Switch folder, restart your computer then install it again.

I Converted a lot of old Beach Boy files to MP3 using Switch + and transferred them to a special folder on my laptop and to a new Soulcker MP3 player.  The files show reasonable bit size for the files on both the laptop and MP3 player, but no audio comes out when trying to play the songs on either device.  Both devices play other music  fine, so it's not a sound card problem.  But some audio problem exists.  Help please.

Hello Neil, are you able to play the original .wma files using your media player, or on Switch before you convert them?  If you are not able to play those files, then converting them won't fix the issue.

Also, when you are converting the files to mp3, click on Options next to the output format option (mp3), use the constant bitrate, set it to 192, and click on OK.  Convert the files and test to confirm if they play fine on the computer and mp3 player.
