my mic has issues

I installed the voxal voice changer because I saw a video and wanted to try it myself. I started talking to my friends on discord without using the voice changer since I didn't want to use it first but they all told me my mic sounded like a robot. I checked and voxal was not running,I panicked and deleted the voxal app without properly uninstalling them and now my mic always sounds like a robot. My mic was fine before I installed voxal. I need help

Try doing a clean install and delete all the cache of the program:

C:\ProgramData\NCH Software
C:\Users\(Your computer profile)\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\

If you can't find the AppData folder, set Windows to show hidden files and folders with the steps from this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/14201/windows-show-hidden-files.

After deleting the folder, restart your computer. That should do it. Please try it again after that and see if that fixes the issue.
