Monitoring new track before record

[Mixpad]

I'm fairly happy with Mixpad but I cannot monitor the instrument I'm using,,before recording.  I have to hit record to listen to the sound I'm using.

I would like to know if there is a way to monitor my instrument before I hit record.   Any info on this subject would be most welcome.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to monitor before you start recording, you will always need to hit record to start monitoring what you are recording.
