Creative Forge
[Videopad v5.32] Hi, is the SNAP TO GRID feature a default setting? I need to disable it for my whole project, not just for one clip or another. Because when I hold the ALT key and drag a clip, as soon as it gets close to another it SNAPS automatically. How do I disable that? It is making it impossible to work with precision for the specific project I'm doing. Thank you in advance, Andre
borate
http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/29305-autosnap-and-more-problems/?tab=comments#comment-76415 Improvements are in the works. If <alt> is held while dragging, nothing should snap, and a gap will be left. To drag not just a single clip, but all clips, select those that are to be dragged, right-click on one and group them. Then all in the group will drag right, leaving a gap. Works fine here.
Creative Forge
Thank you, but that didn't work here (grouping). However, zooming in massively and using the "shift + arrows" keys to get to the edge of each clip, that was helpful. I could then move the clips more easily. This snap function should indeed be customizable. By default, with the ability to disable it. Thank you!
borate
Try beta v7.50, keeping in mind that this is a test version subject to change. If it still snaps, reinstall - perhaps several times, until it doesn't. Report back on your success.

Nice to see movement on this. :)
