Is SNAP TO GRID a default setting?

Hi, is the SNAP TO GRID feature a default setting? I need to disable it for my whole project, not just for one clip or another. Because when I hold the ALT key and drag a clip, as soon as it gets close to another it SNAPS automatically.

How do I disable that? It is making it impossible to work with precision for the specific project I'm doing.

Thank you in advance,

Andre

Improvements are in the works.

If <alt> is held while dragging, nothing should snap, and a gap will be left.

To drag not just a single clip, but all clips, select those that are to be dragged, right-click on one and group them. Then all in the group will drag right, leaving a gap.  Works fine here.

Thank you, but that didn't work here (grouping).

However, zooming in massively and using the "shift + arrows" keys to get to the edge of each clip, that was helpful. I could then move the clips more easily.

This snap function should indeed be customizable. By default, with the ability to disable it.

Thank you!
