IVM Answer attendant stops at pauses

I have just upgradred to v 2.41.

Wherever a pause is inserted in the dialling sequence, the software stops and no further dialing happens.

eg !, 709 just hook flashes without dialling further. If a pause is put in front of the Hook flash (,!,) the log shows 'TRANSFER' but nothing else happens.

Without the pauses, the dialling is too fast for the PABX (Aria 28).

 

I am using a d-link DFM-562IS modem with Windows 2000.

 

Does any one have any suggestions.
