For new purchases, what is the quarterly charge for?

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing a full license for FileFort Backup ver 3.31, but am wondering what the quarterly charge is for.

I see the regular purchase price for the product, but is there a quarterly charge thereafter you would have to pay as well?

I tried to send a message to Support about this, but it wouldn't let me mesg them without buying the product first.

All I'm looking to do is backup my laptop to my external drive (no cloud solution).
