Using Debut with Nikon Camera

I'm brand new with video/audio recording, and probably don't really know enough to ask the right questions, so please bear with me.

I'd like to be able to use Debut to record video/audio with either a webcam or a Nikon D7200 camera. Using my Logitech c922 Pro Stream webcam works fine. After doing a lot of web searching I installed the video capture program SparkoCam, which works fine with the webcam and with the Nikon. However, it has limitations, which is why I'd like to use Debut.

I don't see any way to make Debut hook up with the Nikon. Any suggestions?

I can select video settings in Skype that hook up to the webcam directly, or through some magic to SparkoCam. It all works fine. But I can find no equivalent settings in Debut to hook up with SparkoCam.

Perhaps I'm going about this the wrong way, so I'd like to get comments to educate myself.
