rbsmithphd
I have had no problems in the past sending dictation files via Express Dictate (v 5.95) using the SMTP protocol. I have been using smtp.mail.yahoo.com:465 but this now leads to: "Mail server not responding". My email address and password are correct, and I have checked the boxes for SSL transmission and authentication. I'm using a Win 10 computer. Any ideas? Chris75
Hello, In this case, you may want to check if your email server requires a two-step verification to allow less secure apps to send emails. This is a standard practice among email providers to avoid spam campaigns. So, you may want to check with Yahoo and confirm if you have already set Express Dictate as a secure or allowed application to use your email server to send the dictations as emails.
