rang nguyen
How can I add a new single staff after writing notation on a first one. Every time I create a new staff, software gives me a two-staff or three-staff set ! Thanks.
elk
If you want to add a new staff, you just need to click Parts Setup under the Score menu and then, click the Staff icon. In case you still have issues, you may try to reinstall the program using this link: https://www.nch.com.au/components/crescendosetup.exe
Anderson
Elk, the program just keeps adding staves of different kinds and then extends it for ever. I'm looking for a way to re-create the same staff enough times to do a song and keep parts on it'e own stave so I can have 3 parts. I'm not having any luck. This program seems to think everything should be under the same staff, so it just adds on and on.. Will keep looking.

Hi Rang Set up your first staff with Key & time signatures, then put the bar lines in and while still using the bar line tool drag the tool below existing staff and a new separate staff will appear. Found this out just now by playing around (by accident in other words). Good Luck - Bob.
