Connecting notes using a bar

I'd like to connect a series of notes variable in number depending on where you are in the score with a bar either below the notes or above them.

Is it possible to do that with Cresendo by NHC software ( unlicensed, non commercial  home use only ) ?

Hello,

You can definitely do that, you can use the ¨Slur¨ tool to place a bar to connect notes, now the direction of the slur will depend on the direction of the stems of the notes, if the stems are up the slur will be down if the stems are down the slur will be up. If they are different and one stem is up and the other one down then the program will set the direction of the slur depending on the stem of the first note.
